We started the day with cool, crisp air as we made our way toward the coast and then followed the Rio Minho, heading to the charming town of Vila Nova de Cerveira.
As the morning progressed, the weather began to warm up, but so did our pace. Today, we found ourselves walking at the front of the group for part of the way—a change of pace from our usual relaxed stride, where we often hung back and took it easy.
Walking alongside the river today
With the path hugging the river, there weren’t many places to stop for coffee or refreshments. So, most of our breaks involved finding some shade and digging into our backpacks for water and snacks—a simple yet satisfying way to recharge.
Today, we covered around 23 km in 5.5 hours—another rewarding day on the trail!
