Thankfully, today brought much cooler weather for walking, with a comfortable high of 19°c. We made our way back to the coast from our hotel, and the refreshing ocean breeze was a welcome companion. With a light rain falling for much of the day, rain jackets were a must, but it added a calming touch to the walk.
Compared to yesterday’s grueling trek, today’s journey felt like a breeze—literally! The coastal path was much easier and full of stunning views.

We took a well-earned coffee break around 11:00 at a charming spot called Areia Restaurante & Bar. It was just what we needed to recharge before continuing on. Later, we stopped for a late lunch at Restaurante Camarão around 14:00, dining al fresco. I treated myself to a delicious tuna salad, the perfect light meal for the day.
Today’s distance was 20 km, and we covered it in just under 5 hours—an enjoyable pace with plenty of time to take in the scenery.
