Today is our big travel day, flying from Dublin to Santiago de Compostela and then driving on to Porto. We kicked things off at Dublin Airport, where we met our team lead and fellow travelers before enjoying a quick break in the Aer Lingus lounge. Our flight to Santiago with Aer Lingus was a breeze โ no delays, no strikes, just pure travel bliss!
Upon arrival, our welcoming guides met us at the airport and whisked us away in two taxi vans straight to Porto. Their smooth arrangements made our journey hassle-free.
After settling into our hotel, we ventured out for dinner at a nearby gem called Sonetos. I indulged in grilled chicken with a tangy orange glaze, paired with rice and chips. To top it off, I savored a glass or two of vinho verde, a unique local Portuguese wine. The food was delightful, and while vinho verde has a distinct taste, itโs definitely one that grows on you!
