The 6th and final day of walking. Another long day and the distance covered around 27km.

The weather was lovely with a high of 24c. I walked most today on my own until I bumped into the San Francisco couple just as I entered Santiago.

I stopped at a popular spot along the route for lunch called “O” Camino Milladoiro. The café does a pilgrim’s menu for €13 which is very popular. I went for a local dish, grilled prawns in garlic with fries and they were delish!

My lunch gave me the required energy to push through the last 5km of the walk and arrive in Santiago at the famous cathedral. Made it!
